Creamy Ranch Chicken in the crock pot!
Easy and delicious. Score.
Just in case you’ve never met me, and don’t know about my love affair with my crock pot. Let me explain it to you, I LOVE my crock pot. I love it. I need it. It makes my life easier and complete. Truly.
So the other day I had some chicken in the fridge and no idea what to make for dinner.
I had seen a few recipes for ranch chicken on beloved Pinterest. They all had a ranch packet and cream of chicken soup.
But that’s not really good enough for me. I love cream cheese, and I definitely needed to throw that in there. It was a good choice. It was so delicious.
So here’s what you need:
3-4 boneless chicken breasts
1 Ranch seasoning packet
1 block of cream cheese
1 can of cream of chicken soup
I always trim the fat off my chicken breasts, and by that, I mean I make Mr. W trim all the fat off the chicken breasts. Then just throw it all in the crock pot and cook on low for about 5 or 6 hours.
After about 5 hours, take the chicken out, shred it with a fork, then throw it all back in. Stir it really well to help the cream cheese dissolve completely.
That’s pretty much it. Super easy!
We made mashed potatoes to eat with this! If you want a good mashed potato recipe, check mine out here!
I also made some toast and put this on top of it like a nice warm chicken salad type thing. That was probably my favorite way to eat it.
You can also add things to this if you wanted! Like bacon!
Next time, I will definitely add bacon.
I’d love to hear how your family decided to eat it!
